Huang takes an optimistic view of technology's ability to rapidly transform society, create faster economic growth, and achieve scientific breakthroughs. But as the head of a company that manufactures computer chips and is now developing AI systems, Huang feels compelled to respond to criticisms warning of job losses and threats to humanity itself as a result of AI's proliferation.
