England and France will meet on Sunday, 19 July, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami to determine the third-place finisher and bronze medal winner at the 2026 World Cup, after both sides were eliminated in the semi-finals.

The match kicks off at 1:00 a.m. UAE time and midnight Egypt time, with the final between Argentina and Spain scheduled for the same evening.

England lost to Argentina 2-1 in the semi-final after the reigning champions overturned a deficit to claim victory, with substitute Lautaro Martínez scoring the winner to end the Three Lions' bid for the title.

France, for their part, suffered a 2-0 defeat to Spain in the other semi-final, redirecting them to the third-place match against England.

England previously played in a third-place match at the 2018 World Cup, losing 2-0 to Belgium, while Croatia claimed the bronze medal at the last edition after defeating Morocco.

The final between Argentina and Spain will be held at MetLife Stadium in New York, after Argentina overcame England and Spain advanced at the expense of France.
