FIFA's Referees Committee has revealed the officiating team for the round-of-16 match between Egypt and Argentina at the 2026 World Cup. The two sides meet in a highly anticipated encounter at 8pm Tuesday (UAE time) at Atlanta stadium, with Egypt having advanced to the last 16 after beating Australia 4-2 on penalties, while Argentina qualified with difficulty, edging Cape Verde 3-2.
It will be the French referee's second match at the 2026 World Cup, having previously officiated the Cape Verde vs Saudi Arabia group-stage fixture.
