Ahmed Al Mlouli, coordinator of the Moroccans in the UAE group, has confirmed that Moroccan fan turnout at the Dubai World Trade Centre has been exceptionally high since the start of World Cup matches, noting that total attendance across Morocco national team fixtures has reached approximately 10,000 fans since the tournament kicked off.
Al Mlouli told Al Bayan that average attendance per match has been around 1,500 fans, adding that the Canada match drew a larger-than-usual crowd given that it was held over the weekend and carried great significance for Moroccan supporters.
He revealed the scale of demand to attend the team's matches, explaining that he personally received more than 3,026 ticket requests in just around seven hours, while only approximately 10% of those requests could be fulfilled.
He noted that demand for tickets — whether through the platform or via invitations — far exceeds capacity, stressing that the Moroccan community is keen to support its national team at every match. He expressed hope that capacity would be increased for the next match to meet growing demand from Moroccan fans, anticipating that turnout would rise further should the team advance to the next round.
