Ismail Saybari has entered the list of Morocco's most prominent all-time scorers at the World Cup after continuing his impressive form at the 2026 edition, raising his tally to 2 goals in the tournament while wearing the Atlas Lions shirt.

Saybari scored Morocco's goal against Scotland in the second round of the group stage at the 2026 World Cup, adding his second goal of the current edition after opening his World Cup account by netting against Brazil in the first match, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Moroccan player has moved up the historical scorers list for his country at the World Cup, drawing level with a number of former Morocco stars who had also scored 2 goals during their World Cup appearances.

Saybari joins a list that includes Salaheddine Bassir, Abdel Jalil Hadda "Camacho", and Abderrazak Khairi, all of whom had previously reached the 2-goal mark in a Morocco shirt at the World Cup.

Youssef En-Nesyri continues to lead Morocco's all-time World Cup scorers list with 3 goals, remaining in first place among all Atlas Lions players.

Saybari has the opportunity to improve his tally further during the current edition, now just 1 goal away from matching En-Nesyri's record and surpassing the rest of the players sharing second place on the list.
