Sharjah have secured the services of Togolese striker Laba Kodjo on a free transfer from Al Ain for two seasons, reinforcing the squad ahead of the coming campaign with ambitions of returning the team to the winners' podium, given his high attacking capabilities.
Kodjo spent 7 years with "The Leader", during which he achieved numerous collective and individual honours, including the most recent league title, the AFC Champions League, in addition to being Al Ain's all-time top scorer with 142 goals, and one of the players who left an enduring mark on the club's history.
The Togolese striker's move to Sharjah came in line with the club's management and technical staff plan to bolster the squad with outstanding players, with the aim of returning to championship glory and delivering strong performances that meet the aspirations of the fans.
