Al Dhafra have announced the signing of Guinean striker Sory Kaba from Belgian club OH Leuven, as part of the club's efforts to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season. Kaba, who is 30 years old, is Al Dhafra's fifth acquisition in the current summer transfer window and will be registered in the foreign players category.

Al Dhafra had previously signed Senegalese defensive midfielder Dominique Mendy from Iraqi club Al Shorta to bolster the team's midfield with a player experienced in regional football, and also signed goalkeeper Issa Al Houti from Khor Fakkan.

The club further added Albanian playmaker Regi Lushkja from Iranian club Tractor on a free transfer, and signed Brazilian striker Arilson Sampaio Galvão on loan from Brazilian club Sport Club Tubarense.

The club registered Arilson — aged 21 — in the residents category, as the player has experience in the region having spent last season on loan at Saudi club Damac.
