Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Authority for Culture and Media, visited the Fujairah Chess and Culture Club, where he was received by Mohammed Al Hallaq, the club's Executive Director. During the visit, Sheikh Rashid Al Sharqi toured the club's various facilities, including training halls, administrative offices, tournament and competition halls, as well as spaces designated for receiving players and organising activities. He was also briefed on the programmes and activities the club offers in the field of chess, its role in preparing and refining national talents, and developing the abilities of players across all age groups.

He praised the distinguished level attained by the Fujairah Chess and Culture Club and the modern facilities and equipment it houses, which contribute to providing a comprehensive training environment. He commended the efforts of those running the club in spreading chess culture, discovering talents, and strengthening the emirate's presence in sporting and cultural arenas.

For his part, Mohammed Al Hallaq, Executive Director of the Fujairah Chess and Culture Club, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for His Highness's generous visit, affirming that it represents a great motivation to continue working and elevating the standard of programmes and activities offered by the club, in a way that contributes to realising Fujairah's aspirations in youth development and sporting excellence.
