The Arab Wushu and Kung Fu Federation in the UAE will join the Filipino community in Al Ain in celebrating the 128th anniversary of Philippine independence next Saturday at Zayed Central Library. The event will be attended by Ambassador Alfonso A. Ver, the Philippine ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, and Salem Al Ameri, President of the Arab Wushu and Kung Fu Federation in the UAE, alongside a number of prominent figures and supporters from the city of Al Ain.
Building on the success of the Kalayaan 2024 and Kalayaan 2025 celebrations, this year's festivities promise to be bigger and more exciting, featuring cultural performances, a popular marketplace, and networking opportunities with partner businesses and organisations.
The annual celebration aims to highlight Filipino heritage and strengthen cultural ties and community engagement among the various segments of society in Al Ain. The Filipino community in Al Ain also expressed its gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for its continued support of multicultural events that promote cultural exchange, unity, and cooperation.
