Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club launched the first day of the first week of the Sharjah Sports Summer programme, 'Otlatna Ghair', organised and supervised by the Sharjah Sports Council, through a series of religious, awareness, sports, cultural, and artistic segments, in addition to activities falling under 'Creativity Week'.
The opening day saw an atmosphere of joy and positive interaction between participants and the presenters of the varied segments, amid a wide diversity of programmes aimed at developing the skills of young people and making productive use of their free time during the summer holiday.
The club's Director of Sports Affairs, Hamid Sabt Al Shamsi, conveyed the wishes of club board chairman Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan for the success of the new edition of the Sharjah Sports Summer programme 'Otlatna Ghair', expressing hope that participants would benefit from the programme and enjoy its purposeful segments that combine entertainment with learning.
Al Shamsi also welcomed the presenters of the educational and recreational workshops across the various disciplines, as well as the participating children, affirming that the team would continue to provide full support to ensure the continuation of the success achieved in previous years.
Parents, for their part, expressed their happiness at their children joining the programme organised by Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club, praising the facilities on offer, which encouraged them to register and motivated others to join the programme and benefit from its varied activities.
