The UAE Golf Federation has announced the launch of the Emirates Women's Par 3 League for the 2026–2027 season. Open to both UAE nationals and residents, the league aims to provide an accessible and encouraging competitive environment for women entering the world of golf competition.

Dr. Al Yaziyah Al Kuwaiti, a member of the UAE Golf Federation's board of directors and one of the leading advocates for the development of women's golf in the country, affirmed that the sporting achievements of the United Arab Emirates reflect the far-sighted vision of its wise leadership and its continuous commitment to investing in Emirati talent and empowering national competencies across all fields.

She praised the ongoing support extended by the Ministry of Sports and the UAE Olympic Committee to the sports sector, stressing that the UAE Golf Federation continues its concerted efforts to develop male and female players alike and to create opportunities that enable them to represent the United Arab Emirates with pride at regional and international tournaments and championships.

Dr. Al Yaziyah Al Kuwaiti explained that increasing women's participation in golf is a strategic priority for the UAE Golf Federation and one of the fundamental pillars of its long-term development vision. She noted that the federation is working through specialised programmes and qualitative initiatives to provide more opportunities for girls and women to play golf, develop their sporting skills, and strengthen their sustained connection with the sport.

She added that league competitions will be held at a number of golf facilities and courses spread across the various emirates of the country, giving participants of all levels the opportunity to compete in organised events, record official results to obtain an internationally recognised handicap, and track the progress of their technical level through regular competition.
