The second edition of the Al Ain Camel Racing Festival 2026 continued today at Al Rawdah track in Al Ain, with the sixth day of the first preliminary race over 3 km, dedicated to the Al Laqaya age-category competitions.
'Khallaba', owned by Saeed Rashid bin Sultan Al Gharyani, topped Heat 1, recording a time of 4:33:36 minutes, while 'Makram', owned by Nasser Abdullah Saeed bin Fares Al Dara'i, claimed Heat 2 with the festival's best time of 4:29:35 minutes. 'Malameh', owned by Nasser Abdullah Saeed bin Fares, won Heat 3 with a time of 4:34:64 minutes, and 'Qumari', owned by Sultan Mohammed Sultan bin Shahin Al Awani, took Heat 4 in 4:34:16 minutes. 'Najah', owned by Bati Muslim Al Zafna bin Muslim Al Ameri, won Heat 5 in 4:31:79 minutes, while 'Mahaba', owned by Abdullah Salem bin Huzaim Al Falasi, claimed Heat 6 with a time of 4:36:79 minutes.
'Al Hareb', owned by Saleh Ahmed bin Hwail Al Ameri, finished first in Heat 7 in 4:35:04 minutes. 'Lamsa', owned by Suhail Saeed bin Thwaib Al Ameri, won Heat 8 with a time of 4:39:56 minutes, while 'Qasayed', owned by Hussein Salem bin Hussein Shughail Al Hajeri, claimed Heat 9 in 4:35:38 minutes. 'Al Ayer', owned by Mohsen Mabkhout bin Ghanem Al Manhali, took the title of Heat 10 in 4:31:41 minutes.
Heat 11 saw 'Shawaween', owned by Sultan Saeed bin Ali Al Shamsi, finish first in 4:46:02 minutes, while 'Wisam', owned by Hamad Mohammed Salem bin Jahwail Saad, claimed Heat 12 with a time of 4:40:54 minutes. 'Al Hayoub', owned by Saeed Rashid bin Hammoud Al Dara'i, won Heat 13 in 4:33:40 minutes, and 'Tafseer', owned by Sultan Saif bin Humaid Hareb Al Shamsi, took Heat 14 in 4:39:05 minutes. Finally, 'Hushaim', owned by Mohammed Uwaidha bin Hamad Al Ameri, concluded the morning session by winning Heat 15 in 4:36:87 minutes.
