Competition continued on the fourth day of the first preliminary race in the second edition of the Al Ain 2026 Camel Racing Festival, at the Al Rawdha track in the Al Ain region, with 15 heats over a distance of 3 km in the Al Haqayiq age category, drawing wide participation from camel owners from within the country and Gulf Cooperation Council states.
'Al Faydha', owned by Nayel Rashid bin Saif Al Shamsi, topped the first heat with a time of 4:34:15 minutes, while 'Za'our', owned by the same owner, claimed the second heat title with a time of 4:30:16 minutes — the best time recorded.
'Al Dhayer', owned by Hamad Ali bin Hamad Al Waheibi, won the third heat title with a time of 4:37:53 minutes, and 'Al Maher', owned by Humaid Salem bin Mohammed Saed Al Dar'i, claimed the fourth heat with a time of 4:34:23 minutes. 'Jabbara', owned by Mohammed Salem bin Maktum Al Junaibiy, won the fifth heat title with a time of 4:35:26 minutes, while 'Rahiyah', owned by Saif Rashid bin Faleh Saif Al Shamsi, claimed the sixth heat title with a time of 4:34:06 minutes.
The seventh heat saw 'Hype', owned by Mohammed Gharib bin Rashid Masbah Al Ketbi, win with a time of 4:33:27 minutes. 'Shama', owned by Sultan Ali bin Sultan Salem Al Ketbi, claimed the eighth heat title with a time of 4:35:78 minutes, while 'Mawadda', owned by Mohammed Salimeen bin Mubarak Al Ameri, took the ninth heat title with a time of 4:32:71 minutes. 'Kafu', owned by Rashid Farish bin Masoud Ali Al Hashemi, won the tenth heat with a time of 4:36:33 minutes.
'Munayar', owned by Sultan Ali bin Sultan Salem Al Ketbi, was crowned champion of the eleventh heat with a time of 4:39:01 minutes, while 'Al Qawda', owned by Saeed Mohammed bin Saeed Abboud Al Harthi, claimed the twelfth heat title with a time of 4:38:88 minutes.
'Al Mujarrad', owned by Hamdan Saeed bin Matar Masbah Al Ketbi, won the thirteenth heat title with a time of 4:33:01 minutes, and 'Shawaween', owned by Saeed Ali bin Mohammed Saeed Al Nuaimi, claimed the fourteenth heat with a time of 4:36:24 minutes. The title of the fifteenth and final heat went to 'Thameen', owned by Sultan Mubarak bin Saeed Al Shamsi, with a time of 4:36:79 minutes.
