The two-day awareness campaign reached more than 1,100 male and female swimmers from more than 50 sports clubs and academies from across the United Arab Emirates.
Lieutenant Nabit Sultan Al Ketbi affirmed that the 'Your Commitment Is Our Happiness' initiative aims to strengthen engagement with sports audiences and unite efforts to bring joy to fans by entrenching a culture of positive support, reflecting the civilised image of the country in its sports arenas.
Lieutenant Nabit Sultan Al Ketbi said: "The initiative works to raise public awareness of the boundaries of fan support and the dangers of expressing feelings in a negative manner towards others, and to ensure the public is fully aware of its obligations under the federal law on the security of sports facilities and events."
Lieutenant Al Ketbi noted that the provisions of the federal law on the security of sports facilities and events ensure that all safety procedures are in place for athletes and various facilities across the country, in accordance with advanced security standards and controls aligned with the international standards applied to managing security aspects of sports festivals and events at the highest levels.
