The Fujairah Martial Arts Club's triathlon team has asserted its complete dominance over the UAE Triathlon League competitions for the current 2025–2026 sporting season. The team was crowned at the end of the season with the "Overall Excellence Shield" for the second consecutive season, confirming the continuity of its successful sporting project and its ability to produce champions.

The historic crowning came as the fruit of a long and eventful season that extended across 6 major competitive rounds, which saw the participation of an elite group of the country's strongest clubs. Fujairah's champions swept the league's main categories, particularly the Sprint and Super Sprint categories, achieving the largest number of medals and cumulative points, in addition to reaching the podiums in the Olympic and Junior categories — earning the club the top position in the overall standings by merit and deserve.

The headquarters of Fujairah Martial Arts Club hosted the handover ceremony of the Overall Excellence Shield, where a delegation from the UAE Triathlon Federation, led by Ahmed Al Shamsi, Vice President of the Federation, and Mohsen Hassan Al Ali, Chairman of the Federation's Technical Committee, presented the shield to Captain Ahmed Eid in the presence of Nader Abu Shawish, Director of Fujairah Martial Arts Club, along with the technical and administrative staff overseeing the team, and a constellation of triathlon champion athletes.

For his part, Nader Abu Shawish, Director of Fujairah Martial Arts Club, affirmed that maintaining the top position is far more difficult than reaching it, noting that winning the Overall Excellence Shield for the second consecutive season is proof that what was achieved last season was not the result of coincidence, but rather the product of an integrated sports governance strategy and sustainable institutional work that enjoys direct support and patronage from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and President of the Club.

Abu Shawish added: "These professional levels and unprecedented record-breaking performances achieved by our champions this season raise the ceiling of our ambitions. We do not target local leadership alone; rather, we are moving with steady steps, backed by advanced training programmes, towards qualifying the champions of the future to represent the United Arab Emirates in regional, international, and Olympic arenas. I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the UAE Triathlon Federation for their organisational efforts, to our technical and administrative staff, and to our champion athletes who proved their excellence."
