The Dubai International Marine Sports Club has announced the launch of its Summer Sailing Camp 2026, as part of its programmes aimed at attracting young participants and promoting a culture of marine sports, to be held during July at Bulgari Beach in Dubai.
The club has opened registration for those wishing to join the camp, calling on parents to sign their children up to benefit from the training programme, which combines education and practical application in sailing, under the supervision of a select group of qualified coaches, in a professional, safe, and motivating training environment designed to hone skills and discover emerging talent.
Mohammed Hareb, Executive Director of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, confirmed that the summer camp forms part of the club's strategy to spread awareness of marine sports among members of the community and prepare a new generation of sailing practitioners. He noted that the club is committed each year to delivering quality programmes that combine education and enjoyment while strengthening young people's connection to the marine environment.
"The summer camp represents an ideal opportunity for children and young people to acquire fundamental sailing skills, build self-confidence, and work in a team spirit, under specialised technical supervision and in accordance with the highest safety standards. We also seek, through these initiatives, to discover talents who could represent the club and the United Arab Emirates in major competitions in the future," said Hareb.
The camp will run from 8 to 30 July, with 2 sessions per week, every Wednesday and Thursday, offering participants the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of sailing under specialist coaches in a safe, fully equipped environment meeting the highest standards.
The programme includes 2 training sessions per day: the first from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m., and the second from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., giving participants the flexibility to choose the time that suits them best.
The camp is organised as part of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club's strategy to promote a culture of marine sports across all age groups, discover promising talent, and encourage members of the community to engage in marine activities that combine enjoyment with the development of physical and mental skills.
Registration is available via a QR code published on the club's official accounts. Participants can also easily access the training venue at Bulgari Beach.
