Ecuadorian rider Jonathan Narvaez of UAE Team Emirates – XRG claimed victory in Stage 3 of the Tour de Suisse, following a strong performance capped by a successful long-range attacking move that lasted for a considerable distance of the race.
Narvaez secured the win by outsprinting Belgian Xandro Meurisse of team Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling, adding another victory to his tally this season and bringing UAE Team Emirates their 41st win of 2026.
In the overall standings, Slovenian star Tadej Pogačar of UAE Team Emirates maintained his lead at the top of the race, retaining the yellow jersey after finishing the stage with the peloton, extending his advantage over his nearest rival, Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz, to 2 minutes and 50 seconds, with two stages remaining before the end of the tour.
