Fujairah Martial Arts Club has been crowned with the General Excellence Shield in Aquatic Sports for the 2024–2025 sporting season by the UAE Swimming Federation, after topping the overall standings with an exceptional tally of 6,600 points — a sporting achievement that reflects the remarkable surge in sports in the Emirate of Fujairah.
The shield handover ceremony was held at the club's headquarters in a celebration attended by senior officials from the UAE Aquatic Sports Federation, represented by Abdullah Mubarak Al Zahmi, Vice President of the Federation, and Abdullah Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Secretary General of the Federation, alongside Nader Abu Al Shawish, Club Director, and the team's technical and administrative staff. The shield was received by Amal Al Kindi, Deputy Director of Fujairah Martial Arts Club.
The swimming team fought fiercely to claim its well-deserved shield, achieving absolute dominance across competitions and topping the overall standings in 5 different age categories.
The team finished first overall in the under-10 category, first overall in the 11–12 age category, first overall in the 13–14 age category, first overall in the 15–16 age category, and first overall in the open category.
Fujairah Martial Arts Club is enjoying one of its most successful sporting seasons in 2024–2025, continuing to break records and cementing its status as one of the UAE's leading sporting achievements, under the patronage and support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Honorary President of the Club.
Ambitions do not stop at last season's achievements, as current indicators from the swimming team point to sustained excellence through a growing base of participants, with the number of male and female swimmers reaching approximately 115.
The team managed to set and establish 4 new records during the season, confirming that the achievements continue to build toward domestic and international podiums.
