US President Donald Trump has warned that he would order a sweeping military response against Iran if it attempts to assassinate him.
Trump told the New York Post that he has directed that military action be taken against Iran at "unprecedented levels" if any Iranian party succeeds in killing him.
Trump clarified that there is no new Iranian plot to assassinate him, adding that Tehran has wanted to kill him for years. He noted that Israel had not provided any information regarding a plot targeting him.
