Russia has temporarily suspended navigation through the Don-Azov canal, the waterway linking the Don River to the Sea of Azov, two sources in the grain export sector said on Friday.
The decision came after a Ukrainian strike on Friday targeted 13 Russian vessels in the Sea of Azov, including 10 oil tankers. Experts estimated the attack could affect approximately a quarter of Russian wheat exports transported through the Sea of Azov.
