The number of confirmed Ebola virus cases in the Democratic Republic of Congo has risen to 1,333, including 399 deaths, according to government data released on Tuesday.
The data showed that cases were recorded in the provinces of Ituri, North Kivu, and South Kivu in the east of the country, where authorities continue their efforts to contain the outbreak.
