Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the agreement between the United States and Iran took effect immediately after it was signed by both sides, even though a formal signing ceremony was still scheduled for Friday in Switzerland, according to official announcements.
However, the ceremony now appears to be heading towards cancellation, following the parties' announcement that the understanding was signed remotely between Washington and Tehran.
