The Ministry of Health in the Democratic Republic of Congo announced on Tuesday that the number of Ebola virus infections has risen to 837 cases, including 196 deaths.
The World Health Organization had declared on 17 May that the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda constitutes a health emergency, warning of the risk of the disease spreading to other countries and stressing that the regional risk level is high.
