Environmental scientists have recently concluded that the drying of the Caspian Sea, the world's largest enclosed body of water, is entirely attributable to human-caused factors, warning in a specialist study of serious environmental and economic consequences if the current situation continues.
The study showed that the flow of water into the Caspian Sea has declined sharply over the past three decades.
