The Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation has announced that it has completed preparations to launch the tenth season of the community programme 'Qayth Al Khair' as part of the 'Fujairah Summer' events, under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. The initiative reaffirms the emirate's commitment to promoting social responsibility and consolidating family values and national identity through programmes that invest the summer holiday in developing children's skills and strengthening community cohesion, in line with the UAE's Year of the Family objectives.
Engineer Ali Qasim, Director General of the Corporation, confirmed that the organisational and technical aspects for launching the tenth edition of the programme have been finalised in cooperation with strategic partners and sponsoring entities, ensuring a high-quality season that embodies the directives of Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to strengthen the role of the family and build a cohesive and sustainable society.
He explained that the programme's activities will be held across three phases in various parts of the emirate. The Al Seiji Community Council will host the first phase on 15 and 16 July, Al Tuwayyin Wedding Hall will host the second phase on 22 and 23 July, and the events will conclude at the Al Hakimiya Community Council on 29 and 30 July.
He added that the tenth season arrives with a fresh look and more diverse programmes after a journey spanning a full decade of community contribution, and will include educational, cultural, awareness and entertainment workshops aimed at developing children's skills, strengthening family bonds, consolidating national identity, and encouraging creativity, innovation and teamwork.
He noted that the programme is organised in cooperation with a select group of strategic partners from federal and local entities, reflecting an integrated model of institutional partnership in service of the community, with the participation of the Ministry of Interior represented by Civil Defence in Fujairah.
Other partners include the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Ministry of Education, the Fujairah Authority for Culture and Media, the Fujairah Development Authority, Fujairah International Airport, the Science Club, the Martial Arts Club, and a number of private sector institutions.
Engineer Ali Qasim affirmed that the working teams have completed their preparations to deliver a comprehensive programme meeting the aspirations of all age groups, noting that 'Qayth Al Khair' continues to develop its content and launch innovative initiatives that respond to families' needs, further cementing its status as one of the most prominent community summer initiatives in the Emirate of Fujairah.
