Dibba Al Hisn City organised a community dialogue carrying a clear message: that the family is the primary forge of human character, and the cornerstone in preparing a generation equipped with awareness, skill, and the capacity to shape the future.
Reflecting this vision, the Student Guardians Council of Dibba Al Hisn City, operating under the Suburbs Affairs Department, held its second youth session, titled "The Family", in cooperation with the Dibba Al Hisn Comprehensive Police Centre, the Dibba Al Hisn City Council, and the Eastern Region Youth Council. The session affirmed that empowering youth begins in an aware household and through open dialogue that brings family and community together under one roof, coinciding with the Year of the Family.
The session focused on two main themes: the first addressed the family's role in empowering children and building future-ready skills, while the second examined entrepreneurial and future skills from a youth perspective. The aim was to foster a community dialogue that strengthens the family's role in shaping children's character and instilling positive values, alongside highlighting the key skills young people need to keep pace with future transformations.
The session was moderated by Ahmed Abdullah Mohammed Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Eastern Region Youth Council, with the participation of Nawal Ibrahim Al Sakkar, Head of the Educational Committee of the Student Guardians Council of Dibba Al Hisn City, and Ali Hassan Jamal Al Balushi, a trainer and lecturer in human development.
Abdullah Mohammed Shahdad Al Balushi, a member of the Eastern Region Youth Council, also participated, as the speakers collectively offered insights and experiences addressing the importance of partnership between the family and community institutions in raising a generation that possesses awareness, skill, and confidence.
