The Emirates Child Protection Association has launched its summer campaign, 'My Holiday… Safety… Awareness… Protection', aimed at reinforcing a culture of security, safety, and prevention among children, young people, and their families during the summer holiday, through a comprehensive awareness programme running throughout July and August 2026.

The campaign combines in-person workshops, remote training, and specialised digital content, in partnership with a number of sports, cultural, and educational institutions, contributing to the development of a more aware generation capable of protecting itself.

Mouza Al Shoumi, Vice President of the Emirates Child Protection Association — registered with the Ministry of Community Empowerment — said the campaign stems from the association's mission to entrench the concept that child protection is a shared societal responsibility. This is achieved by delivering quality programmes and activities that strengthen children's self-protection skills and raise awareness among families and all those who work with children, in line with the UAE's drive to build a safer society with a higher quality of life.

Al Shoumi added that the campaign will be implemented throughout July and August 2026 through an integrated programme comprising training workshops, awareness courses, and interactive in-person and online events, ensuring the continuous delivery of awareness messages to children, young people, and parents, and providing them with opportunities to benefit from diverse programmes covering all aspects of child protection and safety. She noted that the in-person programmes will be carried out in cooperation with a number of strategic partners.
