Under the patronage of the wife of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Women Establishment, the foundation has concluded its 'Tamkin Plus' programme, designed for chairwomen of women's committees in government and semi-government entities in Dubai. The closing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Chairperson and Managing Director of Dubai Women Establishment, Naema Ahli, Executive Director of the Establishment, Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of TECOM Group – Dubai Design District, and programme participants.
The programme is among the distinctive initiatives launched by the Establishment with the aim of developing female talent and strengthening women's role across vital sectors, in line with Dubai's and the United Arab Emirates' aspirations for the future.
The programme brought together 22 participants from women's committees in government and semi-government entities in Dubai. It was implemented over a full year and included a range of specialised events and activities covering leadership, professional development, artificial intelligence, and mental health, in collaboration with a number of strategic partners including Dubai Future Foundation, Dubai Media Academy, London Business School, and Hult International Business School. It also featured direct meetings with senior officials and inspiring leadership figures, giving participants the opportunity to benefit from a variety of experiences and expertise.
National talent
H.E. Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Chairperson and Managing Director of Dubai Women Establishment, affirmed that the 'Tamkin Plus' programme embodies the Establishment's approach to developing high-quality initiatives that invest in national female talent and support their professional and leadership journeys, in alignment with the UAE's directions and the Dubai Government's vision of building human capital capable of keeping pace with rapid transformations and leading future development pathways.
She commended the support extended by the wise leadership to Emirati women, and the enabling and motivating environment provided by the UAE and the Dubai Government, which offers them equal opportunities for growth, excellence, and creativity — a cornerstone of their achievement of pioneering accomplishments across various fields.
