Ninth collective women's wedding ceremony held under patronage of Ras Al Khaimah ruler's wife

Under the patronage of Sheikha Hana bint Jumaa Al Majid, wife of Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah held its ninth collective women's wedding ceremony at the 'Al Bayt Matwahad' hall in the Al Rifaa area, with the participation of four brides. The event forms part of an established community initiative embodying the values of cohesion and social solidarity, and reflects the emirate's commitment to supporting the stability and unity of Emirati families.

The wedding was organised as a continuation of an authentic community approach that underscores Ras Al Khaimah's dedication to entrenching family and social cohesion, and to easing the financial burdens associated with the start of married life, thereby contributing to family stability and strengthening the values of social solidarity.

A number of women leaders from across the country and from Ras Al Khaimah attended the ceremony, alongside the families of the brides, where they extended their sincere congratulations and best wishes to the brides and their families, wishing them a happy married life filled with affection and compassion, built on cooperation in establishing stable, tranquil families that contribute to reinforcing social cohesion.

For their part, the brides and their families expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to Sheikha Hana bint Jumaa Al Majid for her generosity and her care in supporting and standing by them at the outset of their married lives.

Since December 2024, Ras Al Khaimah has been hosting collective weddings as part of this community initiative, while preparations are currently under way for new collective women's wedding ceremonies to be held in the coming months of July and August, reflecting the continuity of this authentic social approach.
