The General Command of Sharjah Police has achieved a 99.7% rating on the public safety perception index during 2025, reflecting the success of the emirate's comprehensive development vision, pursued with the vision and support of its leadership. This has contributed to strengthening the security system, providing the enablers and capabilities that have raised performance efficiency and enhanced security readiness, consolidating a safe and stable environment that promotes quality of life and advances levels of community wellbeing.
Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-General of Sharjah Police, said that the advanced results achieved by the Emirate of Sharjah in quality-of-life indicators issued by the Sharjah Statistics and Community Development Department embody the effectiveness of security and preventive policies, the efficiency of the institutional work system, and reflect the level of awareness, social responsibility, and active partnership between community members and security agencies — all of which have reinforced security and stability and supported the emirate's comprehensive development journey.
He affirmed the continued development of the security system and building on achievements already made, in alignment with the strategic directions of the Sharjah Government and the targets of the "We the UAE 2031" vision, which aims to consolidate the country's standing among the world's most secure and stable nations.
The announcement of these results came during the fifth meeting of the Supreme Leadership Council for the year.
Sharjah Police's strategic and operational indicators recorded advanced performance levels, reflected in enhanced security system efficiency, higher levels of community and traffic safety, and a strengthened sense of security and confidence in the security services provided. The daytime public safety perception index reached 99.8%, while the index for feeling safe at home during the night reached 99.7%.
