Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has inaugurated the Al Samha Residential Project in Abu Dhabi, which spans 50 hectares at a total cost of 738 million dirhams and comprises 242 residential villas for citizens.

His Highness received a detailed briefing on the specifications and components of the project, which include the implementation of infrastructure, public utilities and service facilities encompassing 33 public parks and green spaces, as well as a mosque covering 1,228 square metres with a capacity for 644 worshippers, two commercial complexes containing 38 retail outlets, and a 3-kilometre cycling track. Each residential plot within the project covers 1,080 square metres, with a built-up area of 505 square metres.

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conducted an inspection tour of the project's facilities, during which he reviewed the technical specifications and construction details, as well as the exterior and interior designs of the project, which is being developed by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority and the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre in accordance with the highest quality standards and latest international specifications.

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed that the Al Samha Residential Project, along with other housing projects across the various regions of Abu Dhabi, embodies the leadership's vision of building integrated and sustainable residential communities that provide citizens with the foundations for stability, prosperity, and quality of life. He noted that Abu Dhabi's approach to developing the housing sector goes beyond providing homes to establishing a comprehensive system that combines housing, services, community facilities, and modern infrastructure, thereby supporting societal wellbeing and enabling Emirati families to contribute actively to the comprehensive development journey.

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was accompanied during the inauguration by His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohamed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court; Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority Board of Directors; His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Head of the Crown Prince's Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court; Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority; and Engineer Maisara Mahmoud Eid, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre.

On the occasion, Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority Board of Directors, said: "The Al Samha Residential Project embodies our sustained commitment to building modern, integrated residential communities that offer housing options in accordance with the highest international standards, in alignment with our wise leadership's vision and directives aimed at providing citizens with appropriate housing that ensures family stability and the highest levels of living welfare."
