For more than three decades, Dr. Amal Al Malla Al Mheiri has dedicated her professional career to women's health, placing her medical and scientific expertise at the service of women's issues and improving their quality of life, making her one of the prominent names in obstetrics and gynaecology in the United Arab Emirates.
Al Mheiri began her career with a passion for women's health and care across all stages of life, and over the years of her work she has succeeded in combining medical practice, academia, and community work in an integrated model that reflects the importance of linking treatment, awareness, and empowerment. She currently holds the position of consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology, alongside her role as an adjunct assistant professor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she contributes to preparing and qualifying new generations of medical professionals.
Al Mheiri has held a number of leadership positions in the health sector and has contributed to developing programmes and initiatives focused on advancing women's health services and raising awareness of the importance of prevention, early detection, and health education. She has also participated in launching national campaigns aimed at spreading health knowledge among women and encouraging them to adopt healthier and more sustainable lifestyles.
