Emirates Health Services has completed 3,411 transactions for the issuance and renewal of health cards for people of determination during 2025, including 1,108 transactions for issuing new cards and 2,303 transactions for renewing existing ones, reflecting continued demand for the service.
Data from the authority showed that the vast majority of issuance transactions were processed through digital channels, with 1,107 transactions completed via the website compared to just 1 transaction through printing centres, out of a total of 1,108 transactions.
In the monthly breakdown of issuance, September recorded the highest number of transactions at 169, followed by January with 135, then October with 105, February with 102, and March with 99, while July recorded the lowest figure at 41 transactions, followed by December with 55 and June with 63.
Regarding card renewals, the authority completed 2,303 transactions, of which 2,288 were processed via the website and 15 through printing centres. March recorded the highest number of renewal transactions at 281, followed by January with 252, then February with 210, August with 208, September with 207, and May with 203, while July and December recorded the lowest figures at 142 transactions each.
The total number of transactions completed online for both issuance and renewal services thus reached 3,395 out of 3,411, representing approximately 99.5%, compared to just 16 transactions through printing centres.
