The second periodic meeting of the UAE Logistics Integration Council for 2026, held under the chairmanship of His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure and Chairman of the Council, at the Ministry's headquarters in Dubai, examined a number of strategic files related to the development of the national logistics system and the strengthening of integration across transport, trade, and logistics networks.
The meeting also addressed raising supply chain readiness in a manner that supports the targets of the "We the UAE 2031" vision and reinforces the country's standing as a global hub for trade and logistics. His Excellency affirmed that the UAE, guided by the directives of its wise leadership, continues to consolidate a world-leading model for building an advanced logistics system, one founded on integrated infrastructure, accelerating digital transformation, and effective strategic partnerships, thereby enhancing the sector's resilience.
He added that this approach raises the sector's readiness to keep pace with global economic and trade developments. He said the UAE continues to achieve qualitative milestones in the logistics sector, driven by a national vision built on proactiveness, integration, and innovation, with investment in advanced infrastructure, digital systems, and effective partnerships forming a cornerstone for cementing the country's position as a global gateway for trade and supply chains.
His Excellency further noted that the UAE Logistics Integration Council continues to work with various strategic partners to develop national policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the fluidity of trade flows, raising supply chain efficiency, and achieving integration across different modes of transport, thereby contributing to sustainable economic growth.
