Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, visited the summer programme organised by the Fujairah Shooting Club at its premises. During the visit, His Highness stressed the importance of the programme and its objectives in nurturing talent and training young people in shooting skills, reinforcing the sport's historical and social significance in Arab heritage.
His Highness also commended the continued interest of Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, in programmes and initiatives aimed at empowering children, youth, and young people through training, making productive use of their time, and developing their capabilities.
His Highness praised the progress of the summer programme and the skills of its participants, lauding the role of the Fujairah Shooting Club in encouraging members of the community to take up the sport and promoting its wider practice as a purposeful athletic pursuit.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad Al Sharqi also affirmed the importance of equipping young people with scientific, technical, and intellectual knowledge and enhancing their mental capabilities, in order to prepare a competent generation capable of creativity and excellence and of supporting the emirate's development journey.
This came during His Highness's attendance at the closing ceremony of the 'Mental Arithmetic Challenge' initiative, held at the Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah, with the participation of 200 male and female students from schools across the emirate, in the presence of Her Excellency Sarah bint Yousuf Al Amiri, Minister of Education.
