Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, has affirmed that investing in people and building national leaders capable of envisioning the future and creating a sustainable impact is a priority for the Fujairah government, and a driver towards realising its aspirations and advancing the comprehensive development journey across the United Arab Emirates.

This came during His Highness's attendance at the graduation ceremony of the first cohort of the Mohammed bin Hamad Leaders Preparation Programme, held in Fujairah.

The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the UAE Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, and Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Sharqi.

The Crown Prince of Fujairah highlighted the importance of the programme in empowering its participants and creating a positive impact on the level and efficiency of government performance, in implementation of the directives of Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah.

Dr Ali bin Nayea Al Tunaiji, Director of the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Council, said in a speech delivered during the ceremony that the Mohammed bin Hamad Leaders Preparation Programme carried great confidence in its vision, ambitions, and trust in young people, stemming from the vision of Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. Participants were selected following a rigorous journey of assessment and testing according to international standards, with 25 male and female participants joining its first cohort.

Dr Ali bin Siba Al Marri, Chief Executive Officer of the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, said the Mohammed bin Hamad Leaders Preparation Programme falls within the framework of the strategic partnership between the Fujairah government and the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, embodying the integrated national model of inter-institutional collaboration in sustainable investment in human capital and the elevation of government performance.
