The Permanent Committee for Operations Affairs and the Federal Readiness and Preparedness Assessment Team held a joint coordination meeting, chaired by Brigadier Dr. Salem Al Habsi, Deputy Director-General of Federal Central Operations, in the presence of committee members, operations and crisis managers, and a number of officers.
The meeting was held at the Dubai Police Academy. It addressed security plans and business continuity plans, and the readiness and preparedness assessment system, alongside a review of mechanisms for conducting exercises and security scenarios.
The meeting also covered the deployment of modern technologies, intelligent systems, and artificial intelligence applications to enhance the efficiency of the readiness and preparedness system, support risk prediction operations and data analysis, and enable decision-makers to address various challenges with efficiency and speed — in line with the government's directions on digital transformation and innovation, contributing to strengthening integration and coordination among partners and raising preparedness levels to deal with various emergencies and crises.
The meeting is held within the framework of the Ministry of Interior's commitment to developing the security work system and advancing the readiness of work teams, in a manner that ensures rapid response, and reinforces security and stability in society and the safety of its members, in accordance with best practices and approved standards.
