Under the patronage of the Ministry of Interior and the Federal Traffic Council, the General Headquarters of Dubai Police, represented by the General Directorate of Traffic, in cooperation with ENOC Auto Pro, has launched the "Summer Without Accidents" campaign to strengthen the road safety system and entrench awareness that makes road users genuine partners in protecting lives and property.
The launch was attended by Major General Ahmed Abdullah Shuhail, Director General of the Police Judicial Council at Dubai Police; Brigadier Omar Musa Ashour, Director of Naif Police Station; and Colonel Talal Al Mansouri, Director of the Traffic Awareness Department at the General Directorate of Traffic.
Also in attendance were Lieutenant Colonel Rashed Hamid bin Hindi, member of the Federal Traffic Council and Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police; Mr Zaid Abdulrahman Al Qufaidi, Executive Director of the Retail Sector at ENOC Auto Pro; along with a number of officers and guests.
Colonel Talal Al Mansouri said: "Traffic accident fatalities have become a grave threat to the safety of road users. To address these challenges, police leaderships have mobilised all available resources in coordination with relevant authorities, seeking to develop appropriate solutions to reduce road accident fatalities, with their sights set on achieving the highest success rates for the national indicator of reducing the road accident fatality rate."
