The meeting reviewed the importance of developing the financial services sector, keeping pace with rapid advances in digital payments and financial technology, and strengthening strategic partnerships that support innovation and their impact on elevating customer experiences.
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi reaffirmed the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah's commitment to continuing to create a competitive and innovation-driven business environment that attracts leading global companies, strengthens strategic partnerships contributing to sustainable economic growth, supports the emirate's long-term development journey, and consolidates the United Arab Emirates' position as a leading global hub for the digital economy.
His Highness witnessed the signing of a new strategic agreement between the National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah and Mastercard.
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi also received, yesterday, at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City, Maxim Vladimirov, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai, who called on His Highness to pay his respects.
The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah welcomed the Russian Consul General and discussed with him ways to strengthen cooperation with the Russian Federation across various fields, exchanging views on a number of topics of mutual interest.
For his part, Maxim Vladimirov expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for his generous hospitality and warm reception, praising the strength of relations between the United Arab Emirates and his country, as well as the comprehensive development renaissance taking place in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah across all fronts.
