Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, received a delegation from the Emirates Foundation, expressing his appreciation for all the efforts that have contributed to enhancing the Foundation's role over more than 20 years.

He affirmed the importance of the role of national institutions and their qualitative community initiatives in strengthening the social fabric, entrenching its values, and empowering it in ways that support the State's vision targets, which place the community and the provision of the foundations for its stability and prosperity as the highest priority.

He stressed that a strong and cohesive society is a fundamental pillar for building a strong nation capable of achieving its ambitions, confronting challenges, and moving confidently towards the future.

He was briefed on the Foundation's diverse national initiatives relating to the promotion of family and community values, the development of community participation, and support for innovative solutions with long-term national impact.

For his part, Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Martyrs' Families and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Foundation, affirmed that the Foundation, with the support and guidance of the wise leadership, is pressing ahead with redoubling its efforts and enhancing its community impact through the development of qualitative initiatives and strategic partnerships that contribute to human empowerment.

He added that the Foundation is working to entrench a culture of community participation, invest in the energies of youth, support national development priorities, and keep pace with the UAE's vision of building a more cohesive, prosperous, and sustainable society, reinforcing the country's standing as a global model in community development.

The Foundation's delegation expressed its gratitude and appreciation for the support and attention that the President of the State extends to the Foundation, affirming their commitment to continuing their work towards achieving its objectives in serving the community and the nation.

In a separate reception, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, yesterday received the winners of the Abu Dhabi Masters Games 2026, along with the organising committees and working teams, accompanied by Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Martyrs' Families and Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee.

He congratulated the winners, both citizens and residents, and exchanged warm conversations with them, noting that their distinguished participation in the Games embodies an awareness of the importance of sport and its role in promoting health and quality of life, and contributes to entrenching sport as a sustainable way of life for various segments of society.

He emphasised the importance of adopting the concept of sport for life and enhancing its impact on society, encouraging individuals to practise it at all age groups.

He also expressed his gratitude to the Supreme Organising Committee, working teams, organising committees, partners, and supporters who contributed to the success of the Abu Dhabi Masters Games 2026.

The winners expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the attention and support that Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, extends to community sports, which contribute to building a healthy and cohesive society that encourages physical activity, promotes health, and strengthens social bonds among its members.
