Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, has affirmed that investing in generations is the true investment in building the future, noting the role of the Sheikh Zayed Summer Festival 2026 in developing the capabilities of future generations.
Writing on the X platform yesterday, His Highness said: "The Sheikh Zayed Summer Festival 2026 is launching with an experience that combines education, innovation, sport and heritage, reflecting our commitment to building the capabilities of generations and embodying our vision that investing in generations is the true investment in building the future. Best of luck to our participating sons and daughters — we wish them an inspiring summer and an exceptional experience that leaves a lasting mark and remains in the memory."
The festival represents the first and largest summer platform in the region combining education, entertainment, sport, innovation and future-making, with the participation of 30 government, academic and sports entities, and 3,000 programmes and workshops. Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence is presenting the "World of Artificial Intelligence and Innovation" pavilion, which features nine practical programmes and competitions, while the Cybersecurity Council is offering a "Cybersecurity Workshop" comprising awareness and interactive programmes aimed at building digitally conscious generations capable of protecting data.
The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority is participating through its "World of Safety and Emergency Response" with practical workshops covering prevention of domestic accidents and awareness of injuries and prevention methods.
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority is taking part via the "World of Safe Food" pavilion, which offers workshops on "The Young Farmer", food safety and reducing food waste.
The Department of Education and Knowledge is organising "Talent Discovery Week", featuring workshops in handicrafts, theatre, drawing, music performance, sports activities, innovation, photography and digital content creation.
The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works is presenting workshops in glass painting, laser engraving, traditional Emirati crafts and 3D printing.
