Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has affirmed that the UAE Air Force is not measured by displays, but by its capabilities when the skies are tested in the field, noting that it is a proven and effective force in reality before any performance.

In a post on the platform X, His Highness wrote: "The UAE Air Force is not measured by displays, but by its capabilities when the skies are tested in the field. A proven and effective force in reality before any performance, built by leadership that shaped the individual before the machine, and competence before power. In operations, the Knights of the Emirates prove they are makers of impact, not players in a passing scene."

The post coincides with the participation of the national aerobatic display team 'Fursan Al Emarat' in celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of United States independence — a historic first for the team in American airspace. The team had travelled to the United States to take part in the aerial events accompanying the celebrations.

The team performed its signature displays over the Jones Beach area in New York, showcasing advanced skills in precision aerial formations and painting the colours of the UAE flag across the sky, in a spectacle that reflected the team's professionalism and distinction at international events.

This participation embodies the depth of the strategic relationship and historic friendship between the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America. It also reflects the advanced standing the UAE has come to occupy in the fields of military aviation and aerial displays, and the competencies it possesses that enable it to represent the country at the world's most prominent events.

Separately, Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended an end-of-year ceremony at a government school, in an educational atmosphere that reflected the students' celebration of the conclusion of their academic year.

According to what His Highness posted on his account on the platform X, the occasion appeared to him to be more than a passing event, given the social and educational significance it carries, connected to the family's role in building the individual and reinforcing values.

His Highness wrote on X: "I attended the end-of-year ceremony at a government school, at the invitation of Mohammed bin Saif, and the occasion appeared to me to be more than a passing event. In the Year of the Family — 'Growth and Belonging' — it is reaffirmed that the healthy family is not merely the nucleus of society, but the source of awareness, the cradle of trust, and the first root of belonging."

His Highness added: "From the family, the individual is built, and through awareness, work, and loyalty to the leadership, homelands are preserved and rise."
