Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received a number of ambassadors of Latin American and Caribbean countries, along with representatives of their diplomatic missions accredited to the UAE, at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City yesterday, as the envoys came to pay their respects.

His Highness welcomed the ambassadors and diplomatic mission representatives, and discussed with them ways to strengthen and develop cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves mutual interests and enhances existing partnerships. He also exchanged views on a number of issues and topics of shared concern.

His Highness affirmed Ras Al Khaimah's commitment to broadening the horizons of cooperation with Latin American and Caribbean countries, particularly in the fields of economy, investment, trade, and tourism, as well as exploring promising opportunities and building long-term strategic partnerships that align with developmental directions and contribute to advancing progress and achieving shared prosperity.

For their part, the ambassadors and diplomatic mission representatives expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for his generous hospitality and warm reception, praising the close and growing relations between their countries and the United Arab Emirates.

They commended the comprehensive developmental achievements attained by Ras Al Khaimah across various sectors, and affirmed their countries' keenness to continue strengthening cooperation and expanding the scope of partnership in ways that serve mutual interests.
