The UAE government celebrated the graduation of the sixth cohort of the Government Accelerators Diploma, overseen by the Government Accelerators Centre at the Cabinet Affairs Office of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs.

The sixth cohort comprised 49 participants from 39 government, semi-government and private entities, who worked on addressing 40 challenges across 4 main areas: 24 challenges in government efficiency and zeroing bureaucracy, 3 challenges in enhancing quality of life, 7 challenges in community service, and 6 challenges in knowledge and empowerment, supported by Government Accelerators work teams.

His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications and Director General of the Cabinet Affairs Office, affirmed that the Government Accelerators Diploma represents a national laboratory for developing an achievement-acceleration culture and building competencies capable of shortening the time between decision-making and impact. He noted that investing in empowered national competencies is a fundamental pillar for transforming government visions into tangible outcomes.

He said the graduation of the sixth cohort of the Government Accelerators Diploma is an extension of the journey of building government capacities specialised in managing challenges and creating cross-sector solutions, noting that the real challenge amid accelerating change lies not in drawing up plans, but in the ability to convert them into results before circumstances overtake them.

Her Excellency Huda Al Hashimi, Assistant Minister for Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs, affirmed that what distinguishes Government Accelerators Diploma graduates goes beyond possessing tools and methodologies — it lies in their ability to reformulate traditional management approaches and design more flexible and efficient work pathways, enhancing the government's capacity to achieve exceptional results in an environment that demands both speed of adaptation and precision of execution simultaneously.

She added that since its launch in April 2019, the Government Accelerators Diploma has organised and completed 6 cohorts, graduating 266 participants from government, semi-government and private entities, who worked on addressing 161 diverse challenges across various sectors and areas of government work. Its programmes have also seen the participation of more than 172 entities.
