In a post on his account on the X platform yesterday, His Highness said: "Since the formation of the Union, connecting people to places has been a fundamental goal in the journey of development, and today Etihad Rail's passenger train embodies this vision, linking the country's cities, compressing time, and enhancing opportunities for growth and development.
With the departure of the train's first journey today, 30 June 2026, we celebrate a new national achievement added to the UAE's march towards the future, reflecting its ambition to build world-class infrastructure that connects the nation and supports its prosperity."
