Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received yesterday at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City, Geerard Paul Marie Hubert Steegs, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the country, who called on His Highness on the occasion of the conclusion of his term of office.
The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah affirmed the depth of bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and the constant keenness to strengthen and develop them in a manner that serves the common interests of both countries and achieves prosperity for their peoples.
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi commended the ambassador's efforts in promoting cooperation between the two countries across various fields, wishing him success in his future endeavours.
For his part, Geerard Paul Marie Hubert Steegs expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for the warm reception and generous hospitality, praising the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates, the UAE's leading regional and international standing, and the cooperation and support he received during his tenure in the country.
