Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, yesterday attended the fifth edition of the 'Ahd Wa Waad' (Pledge and Promise) forum, in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sandooq Al Watan.
The event was held at the Sheikh Zayed Hall at Ajman University. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi affirmed that 'Ahd Wa Waad' represents a national gathering where hearts unite to renew loyalty and allegiance to the leader of the nation, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God preserve him.
His Highness noted that the initiative embodies the pride of the UAE's people in the path of development and renaissance led by His Highness on solid foundations that protect its achievements and preserve its gains. He also praised the exceptional efforts of His Highness the President and his wise leadership, which have consolidated the UAE's standing and enhanced its position at both the regional and international levels.
His Highness affirmed that the President's far-sighted vision has served as a cornerstone for a unique and sustainable development journey built on empowering people, investing in their energies, and honing their capabilities, for a more prosperous future for generations to come.
The Crown Prince of Ajman expressed his immense pride in the outpouring of sincere sentiments and deep-rooted loyalty shown by citizens and residents alike toward the country's wise leadership.
This is clearly reflected in the 'Ahd Wa Waad' initiative, as the forum serves as a mirror reflecting the highest meanings of pledge and loyalty to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and affirms the strength of the bonds between the leader and his people in a leading model of solidarity built on trust, love, and unity of vision and destiny.
His Highness commended the efforts of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sandooq Al Watan, and his team in launching and ensuring the success of the initiative. The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by a documentary film presenting the latest developments of the initiative, covering the journey of 'Ahd Wa Waad' and its national and community objectives.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan then delivered a speech in which he praised the successes and developmental achievements witnessed by Ajman. The forum also saw Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi sign the 'Ahd Wa Waad' document, joined by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Media.
Also signing were Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department, Sheikh Rashid bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Digital Department, and a number of sheikhs.
