The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority has announced the completion of the development and modernisation of its digital platform dedicated to providing services to government entities in the emirate, in a step that enhances digital transformation and accelerates the processing of transactions.
The move elevates the efficiency of government services in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for comprehensive digital transformation.
The upgraded platform offers government entities an integrated suite of technical and administrative services through a unified interface, encompassing contractor and consultant follow-up, service connection requests, construction project status, and the issuance of technical permits, alongside an advanced data management system that supports infrastructure-related decision-making.
Engineer Abdulrahim Al Zaroni, Director of Shared Services at the authority, explained that the platform's development forms part of the authority's strategic plan to deploy the latest technologies and digital innovations, thereby enhancing the efficiency of joint government work and providing a smart working environment that supports the execution of vital projects and contributes to achieving sustainable development.
He added that the platform strengthens integration between the authority and government entities, helping to reduce time and effort, raise the efficiency of transaction processing, and ensure the sustainability and quality of electricity, water and natural gas services.
Al Zaroni affirmed that the authority continues to develop its digital services in line with the Sharjah government's smart transformation agenda, providing advanced technical solutions that meet the needs of government partners and raise the quality of services delivered.
The authority called on government entities to take advantage of the new features offered by the platform, reaffirming its commitment to the continued development of its technical tools in support of the wise leadership's vision and the enhancement of government service efficiency and community service.
