Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) on the occasion of the Authority's 50th anniversary this year.

He congratulated the delegation on the occasion, expressing his appreciation for their efforts to continuously advance the Authority's work and establish its distinguished position on the global investment map. He also praised the role of the founding generation who established the Authority, and all those who contributed their efforts and ideas to its development and the achievement of its objectives.

The President affirmed the importance of ADIA's role in supporting the country's development vision as one of the most significant tools of economic diversification and future-oriented progress.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Hamid bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and a number of sheikhs and officials.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also received the delegation of the 'Make in the Emirates' platform for its fifth edition in 2026.

He praised the efforts of those leading the 'Make in the Emirates' initiative, which has contributed to its transformation into a platform supporting national industry and building industrial partnerships that serve the country's development objectives.

The President affirmed that strengthening and developing the industrial sector is among the country's top priorities and at the heart of its vision for the future, noting that, from this standpoint, the country is working to localise vital industries, encourage national products, and build Emirati cadres in this field.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; and a number of sheikhs and officials.

The country is working to localise vital industries, encourage national products, and build Emirati cadres.
