Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, have offered their condolences to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the fraternal State of Qatar, on the passing of the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

During the condolence visit at Lusail Palace in the Qatari capital Doha, they expressed their sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Emir of Qatar, the Al Thani family and the brotherly Qatari people, praying to Almighty God to bestow His vast mercy upon the deceased, grant him a place in the expanse of His paradise, and grant his family and loved ones patience and solace.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his accompanying delegation had arrived in Doha earlier yesterday, where they were received at the airport by Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, along with a number of officials.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan were accompanied during the condolence visit by His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Chairman of the National Anti-Narcotics Agency; His Excellency Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of Health and Prevention; and a number of senior officials.

Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan was accompanied by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence; His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; His Excellency Khalifa bin Shahin Al Marar, Minister of State; and Sheikh Nahyan bin Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Under-Secretary of State.
